Privacy policy
Last updated October 13, 2026
This policy explains how Healing Humans Chiropractic + Wellness ("we") handles personal information from our website, online booking and clinic. Protected health information (PHI) is governed separately by our Notice of Privacy Practices, available at the front desk or by calling 469-620-6245.
Information we collect
- Contact information: your name, phone number, email and other details you give us when booking or contacting us.
- Service and payment information: the visits and therapies you book, and payment details processed by our payment provider. We don't store full card numbers.
- Website and technical data: device type, browser and pages visited. We don't place tracking on pages that collect or display PHI.
- Communication preferences: whether you've agreed to receive text messages or email.
- Your account: the email you sign in with, a 4-digit PIN, your membership or Healing Reserve, and your visit history.
- Intake and consent forms: when you fill out forms online, your answers go directly to our clinic's own secure files. They are health information, covered by our Notice of Privacy Practices, and they are not stored on this website. Until you send them, unfinished answers are kept only in your own browser, for up to three days, so you can stop and come back; the form has a link to erase them.
- Receipts: each completed visit has an itemized receipt in your account (your name, the date, the services and the amount; no diagnosis). We email a receipt only if you switch that on, or ask us to send one.
How we use it
- To provide chiropractic and wellness services
- To schedule visits and send confirmations and reminders
- To process payments and keep accurate business records
- To improve our website and your experience
- To meet our legal obligations
We do not sell or rent personal information.
Who helps us run this
We use a small number of service providers, each for one job: Stripe takes card payments and bills monthly memberships (Stripe receives your name, contact details and what you bought, never your health information); Google Workspace carries our email and holds completed intake forms and the notes from your visits under a signed healthcare privacy agreement; and our booking system stores your appointments. We do not sell personal information, and these providers may use it only to do that job for us.
Memberships and prepaid care
A membership is billed to your card on the same day each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in My account or by calling 469-620-6245, with no fee. If you cancel a membership or your Healing Reserve, what you have paid for and not used is refunded.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, physical and technical safeguards. Access to personal and patient information is limited to authorized staff and to vendors bound by confidentiality obligations.
Cookies and analytics
We use limited cookies and browser storage for site performance and features. For example, the Body Audit saves your results only in your own browser. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or any tracking on pages that collect or display PHI.
Children
We provide services to minors only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
Text messages
If you opt in, we send appointment confirmations and reminders by text. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time or HELP for help. We don't share mobile numbers or text-messaging consent with third parties for marketing.
Your Texas privacy rights
Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, Texas residents may request to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of their personal data, and to opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising and profiling. We honor Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out request.
Send requests to: Healing Humans Chiropractic + Wellness, Attn: Privacy Officer, 8499 Greenville Ave, Ste. 205, Dallas, TX 75231, or call 469-620-6245. We respond within 45 days of verifying your identity. If we decline a request, you may appeal, and we'll respond to an appeal within 60 days.
Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected or as required by law, then securely delete or de-identify it. Medical records are kept for the periods Texas law requires.
Changes
We may update this policy. Changes take effect when posted here.
